Ian Tweedy – Arrangement of Forgotten Stories (backstage) is a video recently made by the artist in his studio
in GreenPoint, New York. In this short video, the camera held by the artist himself frames
the eleven paintings realized for his show -now postponed- at Monitor Lisbon, his first solo show in Portugal.
The camera enters the small paintings on book covers completely in depth and revealing the details,
the canvas texture of the covers, their imperfect surfaces that shine like gems in a whirlwind of colors,
faces and bodies admirably intertwined.
